Lucile started on her path
to Thai Vinyasa innately as a child in her native France;
people she worked on kept reporting feeling better.
Also in France she became introduced to the deep innate
healing ability of the “Rebouteux”, the amazing
French bone setters from the country side (which are at
the origins of what is now known as modern Osteopathic and
Chiropractic Medicine).
Thru Thai Massage Lucile rediscovered Thai Vinyasa which
she now teaches. Her Practitioner Certification Program
includes the best of her life's encounters. This teaching
is very experiential and has amazing breakthrough materials.

& Answers with Lucile Palancher |

What
is Spectrum Yoga about?
Spectrum Yoga fuses seamlessly powerful movement from different
yogic traditions around the world. Everything in Spectrum
Yoga is flow (even static poses are part of the flow) because
everything in life is flow. Without flow, there is no life.
The supreme flow to be attained can be referred as the easy
flow, the fluid and effortless movement, the grace, beauty,
sacredness and wisdom. Think about the flow of a meadow brooke,
the flow of the trees dancing in the wind. When we choose
to be in a reflective flow, we learn from our body about the
choices you have made and this awareness feeds our intellect
with authenticity. Next time a similar choice comes around,
we have more discernment power to find and follow the enlightened
path. |
What
is your teaching style?
I teach organically. I have many teachers. Nature is one of
my biggest teacher and is source of continuous and endless
inspiration and devotion. During the spring and summer months,
I teach yoga in the Park.
What is your goal with Spectrum
Yoga?
With Spectrum Yoga, we get to re-connect with ourselves and
the world around us, seen thru our own eyes, "the observer
from within". From that, new set of truths emerge. Progressively
we rebuild our belief systems from the inside out which is
source of enormous liberation.
We learn how to tune in at our own rhythm and wake up our
inner senses to be able to feel and appreciate it ALL (within,
others, Earth, Sky etc). The realization that our place as
human being is not in the center of the circle of life. We
are not a special separate entity from the rest of the circle.
We are as human being a part of the circle like all other
living beings. That is where the fundamental values of "respect"
and "responsibility" are paramount. Respect
of life within ourselves and around us. Responsibility
of the impact of our thoughts and actions over a life-span
of many generations to come.
As our inner-senses and awareness fine-tune, we grow infinitely
more grateful and appreciative. We give ourselves time and
appreciation. We align with Nature and the seasons such as
watching a flower grow and getting super-charged up from it.
We live in the Now. We learn
to trust the divine process. We are in harmony.
How did you come to yoga?
As a young adult I was on what seemed to be a different path.
I studied international business in France & Germany.
I have a MBA from The University of Dunkirk, France. The high-stress
level involved with my corporate assignments led me on the
path of yoga. Through the practice of yoga I learned to trust
my innate wisdom as well as to find my power, purpose and
vision from within.
Is Spectrum Yoga for Beginners?
Yes we all need to start somewhere. Beginners are welcome
as well as more advanced students. Every body will benefit.
How long have you been teaching?
I have been teaching for over a decade now. It's always exciting
to start teaching a new series. No class is ever the same.
Our body is never twice the same either. Everyone of us comes
to class with a different set of gifts and challenges. The
class is formatted by who attends the class then. For me as
a teacher, it has been a great journey of evolution and of
listening from within to universal truth at a deeper level.
How many classes a week
are you teaching?
I only teach group classes ONCE a week. The rest of the time,
I am doing PRIVATE sessions (private yoga and Thai
Vinyasa) i.e. people come and see me because they experience
aches and pain with conditions such as sciatica, frozen shoulders,
chronic headaches etc... I am also a trained food educator
so I offer in parallel "Lifestyle
Wellness & Nutritional Coaching". It is a powerful
make-over program involving food, nutrition, exercise and
bodywork. This gives people the skills of a lifetime in order
to reach their short and long term health and wellness goals.
How was Thai Vinyasa created?
Thai Vinyasa is a beautiful fusion of the most powerful arts
I have encountered in my life such as French healing arts,
Spectrum yoga therapy, Thai
yoga massage and qi gong energy medicine.
What would you say to a
brand new yoga student?
Welcome, welcome, welcome! You are embarking on a wonderful
journey! |
