What is Thai Vinyasa?
Thai Vinyasa is a very effective, meditative and spiritual practice with Asian and European origins. Thai Vinyasa works as a partnership between the client and the practitioner. Combining assisted stretches, acupressure, energy medicine and nutrition, Thai Vinyasa addresses stress, trauma and tension at the fundamental core. As energetic homeostasis is reestablished, neuro-muscular, skeletal, immuno-lymphatic, endocrine and digestive systems are restored and beautiful health is present.

Thai Vinyasa is both dynamic and subtle. The subtle alliance of power and smoothness linked with empowered breath reaches even the deepest structures of the body. The practitioner, moving in a rhythmic manner, lengthens the whole body of the receiver, opening hips, releasing shoulders and restoring natural flow of energy lines.

Unlike the more static Western massage, the complete Thai Vinyasa incorporates assisted yoga stretching, acupressure, energy meridian work, gentle twisting and rocking to open, exercise and revitalize every system of the body. Thai Vinyasa employs a wonderful flowing sequence of stretches and pressure is applied not only with the thumbs and palms but also elbows, knees, and feet.

Thai Vinyasa greatly enhances strength and flexibility, and helps to regain ease of movement. Thai Vinyasa is extremely beneficial for those who find themselves sore, stiff and tired from overexertion in sports or work, or from arthritis and debilitating conditions.

Thai Vinyasa improves circulation, flexibility, muscle tone, and is the perfect creative complement to any exercise routine.  Thai Vinyasa is great for relieving stress and tension helping you to feel completely relaxed and energized like no other massage you have experienced... GUARANTEED

Thai Vinyasa works wonders in preventing disease and injury. This amazing bodywork does help the body to detoxify by encouraging lymphatic function and enhancing the immune system.

MANY PEOPLE HAVE EXPERIENCED RELIEF THROUGH OUR THAI VINYASA APPROACH, such as chronic back pain, migraines, old injuries and bio-mechanical challenges.

Thai Vinyasa can be practiced either on a thick mat or on a massage table. The work is done fully clothed and no oils are required. Loose comfortable non-synthetic clothing are recommended for the session.

Many healthy, happy people have incorporated Thai Vinyasa into their preventative health practices and are enjoying its lasting integrative effects.

We invite you to experience for yourself the powerful benefits of Thai Vinyasa.

MORE ABOUT THAI MASSAGE HISTORY

Thai Massage, also called Thai Yoga Massage, Thai Yoga Therapy, Nuad Phaen Boran or Nuat Thai is an Asian healing art traced back over 2,500 years ago. Exact origins are not fully known, yet teachers culturally have followed their lineage to a Jivaka Komalaboat (Shivago) who was a physician and renowned healer to the Buddha and Kings.

Ancient Traditional Thai Medicine is a holistic natural approach to wellness developed over the many centuries, which includes proper nutrition, herbal remedies, balanced physical exercise and the therapeutic Thai Massage. Similarly to Ayurvedic Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Traditional Thai Medicine considers that pain or disease is the mere manifestation of an imbalance or obstruction within and/or a toxic environment. As with most Asian medicine the focus is not merely treating the symptoms of diseases and ailments, but finding the source of the imbalance, correcting it and maintaining health and well being.

Paintings inscribed on temple walls at Wat Po in Bangkok illustrate that energy lines flow throughout the ten major channels (sen lines or meridians) of the body. For centuries Medical practitioners have successfully treated most ailments by using Thai Massage to restore a harmonious flow of vital energies throughout the body.

Thai Massage is now world-famous for its deeply therapeutic, relaxing and invigorating effects with the power to make permanent changes.

"Receiving Thai Vinyasa is what I can refer to a "Cirque du Soleil Massage". It is grounding and flamboyant at the same time! Lucile has the most powerful toes in the whole world. They are like Ninja toes." -Susan Amick, RYT and Reflexologist

"I scheduled my first massage with Lucile based on a recommendation from my chiropractor. He said that Thai Vinyasa would help loosen the knots (felt like rocks) in my shoulders from sitting in my desk chair and working on my laptop, and improve my knee-hip-shoulder alignment that was thrown out of whack from a severe ankle injury in 2007. After my first session, (...) my feet were better balanced, my sternum was moving again, and the range of motion in my shoulders had improved. (...)
I would recommend Thai Vinyasa with Lucile to anyone who suffers from daily pain and hasn’t found lasting relief with traditional physical therapy. Or to anyone that feels emotionally “stuck” and needs to reset their mindset – positive thought and emotion create a positive effect on the body. Thai Vinyasa tuned me back into the mind, body, and spirit connection that I had previously neglected, and I am happy to feel more relaxed and confident in my abilities." -D.W., Project Manager

"As Olympic competitor in Speed Skating, my son Andrew needed to recover fast and well from his broken ankle. Lucile has done more for my son's ankle in a few sessions of Thai Vinyasa than 5 weeks of Physical Therapy which were taken 3 times a week." -Tom Astalos, Andrew Astalos' dad.

"I thought I was stuck with a downward spiral of pain but I don't feel like that any more. That is so cool! I visited Lucile because of long-term sciatic nerve pain in my back and hip. I'm in my 50's and had developed a limp when I walked.
Although I am overweight, smoke, do very little exercise, I was amazed after just one Thai Vinyasa session.
Lucile utilized stretching motions and pressure points while stressing correct breathing to loosen up my problem areas. (...) The next day, I was able to walk the dog at a very fast pace without 'locking up' and my hip didn't burn at all. It has been months since I've been able to do that! (...) Thank you again. You are appreciated more than you know!" -Mark P., Information Technology

"I have been traveling through Asia where I experienced Asian bodywork & healing arts such as Thai Massage & TuiNa. I can say that none of the sessions had the healing skills that intuitively come out in Lucile's sessions. She makes it up as she goes. Some of the postures don't even exist. Lucile is an intuitive healer with the rhythm of a dancer." -E.C.

"My experience with Lucile and her (...) Thai Vinyasa, (...), doesn't compare to anything else I've ever received and I've been around the "healing block" several times, living in Boulder, CO.
There were several chronic conditions that either changed for the better or over about a week have healed!! And this is after just one session! I am astounded! There are healers and then there are healers! Lucile is the real deal." -Jeanne Natre, Holistic Practitioner.
